Tijuana Sings: Five Baja California choirs–two of them CCSD members–are preparing to join forces for a concert on Sunday Aug. 31 at the Tijuana Cultural Center (Cecut) in the city’s Rio Zone. The 6 p.m. performance is free to the public and will be staged in the vestibule of the Cubo Art Museum. The CCSD participating members are Coro Polifonico Allegro, a mixed choir from Rosarito Beach and Coro Redes, a children’s singing ensemble that is part of Baja California’s state music system. Also participating are the Tijuana choruses, Baja Vocalis, Vox Artis, and Tijuana Queer Coral. The choruses will perform mix of popular, classical and sacred music.
