Encore Vocal Ensemble Master Class – Acting the Song

Encore Vocal Ensemble announces its Spring Master Class featuring award-winning Broadway actor Robert Townsend. The class will cover tips for discovering appropriate gestures and using facial expressions to emote in a virtual setting, as well as general topics including researching your role, experimentation with gesture and physicality, vocal work, and rehearsal practice. Robert Townsend has been a professional actor for over 25 years, performing on Broadway, National Tours and regional theaters across the country. He has been seen on many stages in San Diego, including The Globe, San Diego Rep, Moonlight, Starlight, and San Diego Musical Theatre. He is now the Theater Director and Advisor for the award-winning Westview Theatre Company at Westview High School.
