We are excited to announce that on Saturday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m., the orchestra will perform Mozart’s celebrated “Jupiter” Symphony, followed by the chorus performing Haydn’s “Lord Nelson” Mass. The Mozart will be conducted by LJS&C Music Director Steven Schick, and the Haydn will be conducted by Michael Gerdes, LJS&C Assistant Conductor, and Director of Orchestras at SDSU. Students from the SDSU orchestras will join the chorus for the Haydn. The concert will begin with a performance of the first movement of Carl Nielsen’s Wind Quintet, Op. 43. Good Samaritan Episcopal Church is located at 4321 Eastgate Mall, San Diego, CA 92121, and parking is free.
