La Jolla Symphony Chorus – Auditions

The La Jolla Symphony & Chorus is excited to announce upcoming chorus auditions for our spring season, and we’d love your help spreading the word to your network of singers. We are looking for passionate vocalists to join our musical family as we prepare for an inspiring season of music.

Chorus Audition Details:

• Dates & Times:
  • January 4: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • January 8: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
• Location: Conrad Prebys Music Center, UC San Diego Campus

Audition Information:

• No need to prepare a song or bring materials.
• Auditions include a 10-minute session consisting of:
  • A brief interview
  • Vocalizing to assess range and timbre
  • A sight-singing exercise to gauge music-reading proficiency

Rehearsals:

• Wednesday evenings, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Room 136, Conrad Prebys Music Center (UCSD Campus)

This is a wonderful opportunity for singers to perform meaningful and challenging repertoire while connecting with a vibrant musical community.
