- The first masterwork offered this season by the St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church Community Choir will be Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem, accompanied by parish organist Jenny Yun and chamber orchestra. Duruflé’s Requiem is a monumental work in the contemporary classical idiom, and contains beauty, color, and emotion that is rivaled by very few in the Requiem genre.
