“Music in Poetry and Nature” will feature a program of sacred and secular choral music inspired by the nature and poetry, blending the themes of beauty in the world around us, and featuring music that uses harmonies and vocal themes to bring this vivid and visceral imagery to life.

As one of San Diego’s leading choirs, Stellarum hopes to entertain, educate and enthrall audiences with this free concert, featuring choral music spanning the renaissance to the 21st century and from composers across Europe and North America.

Music will include –

Jonathan Lane’s “There is No Rose”

Alonso Lobo’s “Versa Est In Luctum”

Ēriks Ešenvalds “O Salutaris Hostia”

Eric Whitacre’s “Sleep”

and Ralph Vaugh William’s Shakespeare Songs, among others.
