Expert Overview

For over 55 years, the La Jolla Renaissance Singers have brought the finest of early choral music to the San Diego area. Our 20 or so members are engineers, artists, accountants, professors, and others who enjoy singing excellent music in a small ensemble, where every voice counts. We perform a cappella music primarily written during the Renaissance, but our programs often include forays into music from earlier and later periods, particularly if the text is ancient. Importantly, we get together after each rehearsal to enjoy some refreshments and each other’s company. If you like to sing a cappella classical music and enjoy being part of a supportive group of great folks, then we’re for you!
