Santee Community Chorus

Expert Overview

The Santee Community Chorus is a non-profit, volunteer chorus made up of people who love music and love to sing.  We started in 2011, inspired by the English show “The Choir” and a desire to bring people together through music. We perform at community events, local libraries, senior living residences, among other locations. For the holidays we sing carols and holiday favorites in Victorian Costume at local malls and holiday events. Our Director, Elizabeth Kimery, leads us in a variety of music:  popular songs, show tunes, classical pieces and beautiful original choral pieces by today’s most talented composers.  We are accompanied on piano by the amazing Jan Ault.  Anyone is welcome to visit a rehearsal at any time.  We are a fun and friendly group - Come join us!
