Expert Overview

Shirim b’lev, meaning Songs of the Heart,  is a Jewish community choir in San Diego. Our mission is to celebrate Jewish culture and heritage through the joy of choral music, fostering community connection and preserving traditions for future generations.

Under the direction of our Musical Director and Conductor, Diane Benaroya, we sing traditional Jewish songs, liturgical music, folk tunes, and contemporary compositions inspired by Jewish themes. Our performances range from concerts at community events to religious services, holiday celebrations, cultural festivals, and outreach programs to nursing homes and schools.
