At Solana Beach Presbyterian Church, our chancel choir serves as an integral part of the worship team, partnering with the band members to lead our congregation in communal worship singing. We usually sing contemporary Christian music for the congregational sets in addition to diversely styled choral anthems each week. Some of our special events throughout the year include our Christmas concerts (a modern take on a “lessons and carols” format, featuring an orchestra comprised of SD Symphony members to tell the story of Christmas) and our Spring concert (typically a longform work or themed collection of choral music).
