The efforts are coordinated by the Musical Arts Foundation (FAM). CAM also is the home base for the Baja California Orchestra. It also organizes the “Choralifornia International Festival (a song without Borders)”, which gathers regional, Mexican and international choirs, on both sides of the US-Mexico Border through five days of intense activity filled with concerts, masterclasses, and workshops. Singers of all ages and experience are wholeheartedly welcome in this chorus, and there is no audition. We do not use sheet music, instead learning the songs by heart through repetition, with the support of lyric sheets, practice tracks, and one another. The songs we sing are sacred technologies of the heart and they become allies for life.
