Musica Vitale
Founded in 2005, Musica Vitale is a professional chamber choir drawing its core members from the San Diego Opera Chorus, joined by other vocalists of the San Diego-Tijuana region. The ensemble embodies its name, “Music that Lives,” by performing the vocal music of many cultures, introducing repertoire rarely heard on the American concert stage, often by living composers. In addition, Music Director Elena Vizuet and soloists from Music Vitale visit local public and private schools to offer engaging and age-appropriate programing to inspire future generations of performers and audience.
