On stage:  Musica Vitale, Octet Vox Humana, founded by John Yokoyama and the Ghukasyan String Orchestra founded and directed by Nonna Alahverdova. 

The program consists of choral and Instrumental compositions by Schnittke, Briggs, Thomspon, Tchaikovsky, Khachaturyan, Poulenc, Yokoyama and others.

We anticipate music gifts and birthday surprises and cannot wait to share the stage with our colleagues and friends!

Applications Open for CCSD Summer Chorus Director!

The Choral Consortium of San Diego is now accepting applications for a guest director to lead the CCSD Summer Chorus, a collaborative program that brings singers from across the San Diego region together for a unique summer choral experience.

The Summer Chorus welcomes singers from a variety of backgrounds, including members of CCSD choruses and independent singers from across the community. The selected director will propose a creative theme, shape the repertoire, and lead the ensemble through a short summer rehearsal process that culminates in a public concert performance.

This is a paid conducting opportunity, and a piano accompanist will be provided for the program.

Conductors with creative ideas and a passion for bringing singers together are encouraged to apply.

Applications are open now and must be submitted by April 17.
