These artists didn’t just top charts, they challenged norms, gave voice to the unheard, and inspired us to live more boldly and authentically. Through this concert, we celebrate how their music has uplifted us, shaped our identities, and helped move history forward.

With a dazzling lineup inspired by legends across eras and genres, these are the iconic women who changed everything. Their songs are anthems of resilience, self-expression, love, and liberation—and we are thrilled to bring them to life on stage.

The season finale is as personal as it is powerful. Curated and conducted by award-winning Filipino-Chinese composer Saunder Choi, this concert journeys across the Pacific with music from the Philippines, China, and the United States. Blending cultural works with Choi’s own compositions, it evokes horizons where sea and sky meet in a story of heritage, identity, and discovery.

MLK, Jr. Community Choir sings traditional gospel choir songs with spiritual meaning and heart-filled sound.

Christian Children’s Chorus is the name of an organization founded by Nancy Shirley for the purpose of training children in music and singing skills by preparing quality music literature for performance twice a year. Performance venues are rented in churches or fine arts centers and professional musicians are hired to accompany each choirs’ songs.

The bringing together of two venerable traditions–on the one hand, two extraordinary works from the German Lutheran tradition which meditate on the release of death and the joys that await, and on the other hand, music of comfort from the Gospel tradition and where and how these two worlds intersect. Juxtaposed with the fuller forces of the Bach and Telemann, the incomparable countertenor d’amore Reginald Mobley will perform favorites from the spiritual canon on themes of peace and comfort.

The San Diego Youth Symphony joins forces with the La Jolla Symphony in a work by the brilliant composer and cellist Andrea Casarrubios, who was first introduced to La Jolla audiences in the 2023-2024 season. The haunting beauty of Osvaldo Golijov’s Night of the Flying Horses is paired with the great symphonist Gustav Mahler’s Symphony no. 4, which takes the listener on a journey through a child’s vision of paradise.

Join the Center Chorale, Pacific Coast Chorale, and Symphony Orchestra for a presentation of a symphonic work written for The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by JRR Tolkien. This exciting work from the Tolkien films includes 85 instrumentalists, 100 singers and soloists, children's chorus, will be performing in the 1400 seat concert hall will have a long-lasting impact for singers and audience alike, transforming all through music.
