Bach’s St. John Passion, a profound oratorio that interweaves dramatic chorales and expressive arias, will be performed by the La Jolla Symphony & Chorus, joined by the SDSU Chamber Choir under Dr. Arian Khaefi, capturing the spiritual depth and emotional intensity of Christ’s final hours.
The Center Chorale and Pacific Coast Chorale will perform Music of the Heart in the Irish tradition of storytelling through song. Choirs will perform with the City Ballet Orchestra ensemble folk, classic, and contemporary ballads both familiar and unusual in honor of the celebration of the seasonal St. Patrick's Day holiday. Join us for this performance of familiar and unusual tunes as conductor John Nettles, soprano soloist Caroline Nelms, and the singers and dancers of Cinballera Entertainment take us on a poignant journey with rousing dances, moving ballads, and wonderful examples of Celtic music and film scores.
