Hosted in the stunning, acoustically vibrant sanctuary of St. James by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, the series offers a rare opportunity to experience the beauty and power of the human voice in an intimate, resonant setting.

Wholehearted Chorus
Wholehearted was founded in 2014 by Lisa Littlebird and we now have more than 230 singers in two chapters, San Diego and Carmel, CA.
Singers of all ages and experience are wholeheartedly welcome in this chorus, and there is no audition. We do not use sheet music, instead learning the songs by heart through repetition, with the support of lyric sheets, practice tracks, and one another.
The songs we sing are sacred technologies of the heart and they become allies for life. They are designed to uplift, heal, and nurture our sense of belonging.

We value the profound emotional and spiritual resonance that music brings to services. Through music, we find a powerful means to express devotion, reflect on sacred texts, and connect more deeply with our faith. We have many opportunities for congregants to connect through music, including choir and band.
