First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego
At First UU San Diego, we know music to be a transmitter of culture and tradition, a way of knowing, a way of expressing, and a way of connecting both with others and with the deeper realities of our own lives. Music teaches us, inspires us, challenges us, and transforms our realities.

Pacific Coast Chorale, Inc.
Pacific Coast Chorale is a year-round, non-audition community chorus fostering collaboration by working regularly with other performing arts organizations and musicians, including City Ballet, Escondido Center Chorale, FPCSD's Westminster Choir, and others. We strive for excellence in a wide variety of genres through the power of traditional and historic choral music, contrasted with the vitality and creativity of more modern compositions.

We are based in La Jolla but include members from all over San Diego County. We are one of over 900 chapters in the Barbershop Harmony Society, but we are one of the first mixed-gender choruses in the Society. Our chapter opened its arms to all genders in early 2019 and we haven’t looked back. We are both a competitive chorus and a community-oriented organization. We also have a very active Youth In Harmony program, which provides music to schools, conducts after-school programs, and produces workshops for students. We truly live the Society motto “Everyone in Harmony”.
