CantAmore Chorus
CantAmore Chorus was founded in November 2002 by a small group of like-minded choral music lovers in the Korean-American community of San Diego. Our name CantAmore was ‘created’ by joining the Italian words “Cantare” (meaning, to sing) and “Amore” (meaning, to love); it was and is a reflection of the heartfelt love for choral music and singing of the founders and of our members.

Pacific Coast Harmony
Pacific Coast Harmony is an award-winning a cappella chorus, singing primarily four-part close harmony in the barbershop style. We are based in La Jolla but include members from all over San Diego County. We are one of over 900 chapters in the Barbershop Harmony Society, but we are one of the first mixed-gender choruses in the Society. Our chapter opened its arms to all genders in early 2019 and we haven’t looked back. We are both a competitive chorus and a community-oriented organization. We also have a very active Youth In Harmony program, which provides music to schools, conducts after-school programs, and produces workshops for students. We truly live the Society motto “Everyone in Harmony”.
