St. Katherine Orthodox Church Choir
Worship at St. Katherine is adorned by liturgical singing from multiple Orthodox chant traditions—Slavic and Byzantine—as well as by music by American and Russian composers and arrangers.
Our church choir consists of musically talented and dedicated volunteers who rehearse for half an hour before each service and two or three times a month on appointed weeknights.

Stellarum is founded on the principles of encouraging amateur musicianship of all levels. Our aim is to provide a safe and encouraging space to develop and learn a challenging and engaging repertoire while delighting audiences with a beautiful, evocative, and technically excellent performance.
Sun Harbor Chorus
The Sun Harbor Chorus is San Diego’s original Barbershop chorus. We have provided a harmonic home in San Diego County for men singing in the barbershop style for over 70 years. The Sun Harbor Chorus is a dynamic, inclusive, entertaining men's a cappella chorus that encourages quartet singing and brings harmony to the greater San Diego Community by having fun in the pursuit of musical excellence. We perform a variety of songs from the 1900s to the 2000s. The Sun Harbor Chorus welcomes men of all ages and persuasions and musical experience. In addition to the sheet music, we provide members with audio learning tracks to make it easy to learn their parts without reading music. We welcome singers looking to be part of a wonderful brotherhood filled with music, laughter, and camaraderie. Led by director Kathleen Hansen, each rehearsal is a lesson in vocal and performance skills. Rehearsals are open to the public and held weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm in room 207 of the Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park.
Sweet Harmony Women's Chorus
Sweet Harmony is a member of the California Women's Chorus, comprised of approximately 30 singers run through the San Diego Community College continuing ed/emeritus program. We perform locally several times a year and raise money annually for music scholarships at a joint concert with eight other women's choruses across California.

Wholehearted Chorus
Wholehearted was founded in 2014 by Lisa Littlebird and we now have more than 230 singers in two chapters, San Diego and Carmel, CA.
Singers of all ages and experience are wholeheartedly welcome in this chorus, and there is no audition. We do not use sheet music, instead learning the songs by heart through repetition, with the support of lyric sheets, practice tracks, and one another.
The songs we sing are sacred technologies of the heart and they become allies for life. They are designed to uplift, heal, and nurture our sense of belonging.

At Congregation Beth Israel music is an integral part of the worship experience, deeply enhancing the connection to prayer. We value the profound emotional and spiritual resonance that music brings to services. Through music, we find a powerful means to express devotion, reflect on sacred texts, and connect more deeply with our faith. We have many opportunities for congregants to connect through music, including choir and band.
